Air Pollutants in Your Garage

You might think that your garage is safe from air pollutants. As you open the garage door you allow fresh air to enter and polluted air to exit. Although this is true, your garage can still be a heavily polluted environment. The number of volatile organic compounds (and their off-gases) that may be present can be quite high. Cleaning products, paints, chemicals and many more liquids can produce harmful off gases that pollute your air.

Equipment and your vehicle produce carbon monoxide as they burn fossil fuels and mold growth is a very real possibility water is always present.
